I’ve learned that faith and fitness together can create a truly happy and healthy life. With a Master’s in Fitness and Sports and over 30 years in the industry as a coach and competitor, I’ve found that Pilates is the most precise way to sculpt the body. Life has handed me more than a few piles of lemons, but it’s always been my faith and commitment to movement that helped me turn them into lemonade. Pilates is my way of staying grounded—nurturing my body, mind, and spirit. That’s why I created the Élan Pilates Studios Method—to help others shape strong bodies and joyful hearts.

My Pilates Story
I started my Pilates practice in my teens and have been teaching for 12 years. It’s truly a lifelong passion. I love helping people of all fitness backgrounds experience the benefits of Pilates—whether they're new to the practice or seasoned movers. I love teaching creative flows; my classes are dynamic and approachable, and will inspire you to take your Pilates practice to the next level. Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide variety of clients, and I’m constantly inspired by the strength, awareness, and confidence that Pilates builds in every body. I work with clients on everything from foundational skills to advanced Pilates techniques.

My Pilates Story
I am a relative newcomer to Pilates practice and instruction compared to my colleagues, having spent most of my career as a Deputy District Att, Superior Court Commissioner and Superior Court Judge. I discovered Pilates during the Covid pandemic, and immediately became hooked, taking upwards of 12 classes weekly! Thereafter, I completed the 500-hour
Comprehensive Pilates Training and Certification in January 2024, and obtained my certificate for instruction in TRX Suspension Training. My goal is to serve as the unofficial “Pied Piper of Pilates” and grow as an instructor every day. My classes focus on challenging my students to deepen their Pilates practice through careful attention to form and focus. I enjoy “mixing it up” and using different apparatus weekly to keep the classes fresh and enjoyable.

My Pilates Story
I started doing Pilates back in 2006—way before it was trendy—because of ongoing back pain. As a singer, my voice teacher recommended it for breath support and body strength, and I was hooked right away. I got certified soon after and have been sharing it ever since. I’ve worked in fitness for over 20 years—from NASM-certified Personal Trainer to YogaWorks 200-hour Instructor—but Reformer Pilates is where I feel most at home. I’ve taught everyone from seniors to new moms to athletes and weekend warriors. Pilates helps every body build strength, awareness, and confidence, and I love guiding people to feel empowered and connected in their movement.

I’ve been practicing Pilates for over 15 years, but it became truly transformational after I had my son. It helped me rebuild strength, ease stress, and reconnect with myself. That journey inspired me to get certified and share the practice with others. I love how Pilates supports us from the inside out—physically, mentally, and emotionally. My classes focus on uplifting energy, functional strength, and joyful movement. Pilates is more than a workout—it’s a way to feel better in your body and build lasting resilience. I grew up as a competitive gymnast, so movement has always been part of my life. After becoming a certified fitness trainer and group instructor, I discovered Pilates—and everything clicked. It improved my posture, mobility, and overall confidence in a way nothing else had. That’s when I knew I wanted to teach it. Pilates is more than a workout; it’s a way to feel truly connected to your body. My goal is to help others feel that same strength and alignment, not just physically but mentally too. Through intentional movement, we build more than muscles—we build confidence, energy, and the ability to move through life with ease.

As a massage therapist, I’ve always believed in the healing power of movement. My first Pilates class immediately resonated with me—its mindful, low-impact approach aligned perfectly with how I view wellness: intelligent, effective, and restorative. Pilates supports my hands-on work by helping clients build strength, balance, and body awareness. Over time, it became more than a tool—it became a passion. I love guiding others toward healthier movement, better alignment, and deeper self-connection. My Pilates Story
I started my fitness journey at a very early age, but it wasn’t until after I had my daughter that I became interested in Barre and the incredible results and benefits I experienced firsthand. I became certified in Barre and then shortly thereafter I got my Pilates certification and have been teaching group fitness for the last 12 years. Teaching Barre and Pilates has opened up a new world to me and has allowed me to not only grow as a person but to help others reach their full potential both with their personal and fitness goals. My classes are for all levels as I will help you push yourself through proper form, technique, and a little bit of laughter.
